Sharat Potharaju

CEO & Co-founder

Sharat is responsible for crafting the overall strategy and execution at NFCCARD (formerly Beaconstac). In 2011 Businessworld ranked him among India's Hottest Young Entrepreneurs.

Prior to founding NFCCARD(formerly Beaconstac), Sharat spent several years working in investment banking at Merrill Lynch in New York. While there, he co-founded the award-winning Jaago Re campaign, India's largest urban grassroots voter education program, that mobilized over six million young voters for voter registration ahead of the 2009 national elections in India.
